What is "Personal Information"? How is it collected and used?

Registration for Email Newsletter
In order to join the Let’s Talk Entertainment email list, the patron must first complete the registration form. During registration the patron is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the patron about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest, namely ticketing.
Ticket Ordering and Online Donations
We request information from the patron on our order form. Here a patron must provide contact information (such as name and billing address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date and cvc code). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill the patron's request. If we have difficulty processing a request, contact information is used to get in touch with the patron. All credit card information is encrypted.
We use IP [Internet Provider] addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally-identifiable information.
Payment and Billing Information
We use a credit card processing company to bill users for donations and ticket purchases. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally-identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

We do not share our list of patrons with other arts organizations desire. Your information will not leave. During your ticket transaction you can opt out of receiving information from us, however if you misplace your print at home tickets we would require your verbal permission to resend them via email.
How does Let’s Talk Entertainment protect your personal information?
This website takes every precaution to protect our patrons' information. When patrons submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.
When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'.
